Global Resources Management Group and Partners are pleased to announce a mining lease for sale containing the third largest limestone deposit in Queensland.

The Queensland Department of Natural Resources & Mines Geological Survey states: “The limestone deposit … forms as large lenses. Eight lenses are of economic potential, five of which have major significance. The company has carried out feasibility studies on setting up a cement clinker plant at Archer Point. The high quality of the limestone would allow it to be marketed, not only for cement manufacture, but also for the chemical and mineral processing industries and agriculture.”
Location
This mining lease is located 28 kms west Archer Point in north Queensland
Resource
Approximately 100 million tonnes limestone (drilled only to a vertical depth of 40 m)
Quality
the limestone deposit is 99% CaCO3; (< 0.04% SiO2 < 0.4% MgO < 0.2% Fe2O3 < 0.4% Al2O3)
Native Title
This mining lease is outside native title area, outside the World Heritage area and outside the Wet Tropics area.
