Global Resources Management Group and Partners are pleased to announce an investment opportunity in an exploration permit in the Eromanga Basin in southern Queensland, adjacent to the Gilmore gas field. This tenement covers a total of 5,000 km2 (1.23 million acres).
Resource Potential
Independent resource assessment from leading petroleum engineering firm estimate the potential for over 200 Million barrels of Oil Initially In Place. The operator also holds two CSG permits totalling 2.4 million acres in the same area.
Research
The resource estimates were calculated by a study of
- 3,000km of 2D seismic reports
- well reports from almost 100 petroleum and coal wells and deep water bores;
- detailed evaluation of 7 exploration wells in the permit drilled by previous permit holders.
